Russia's invasion of Ukraine has brought incredible suffering to the Ukrainian people and has affected the scientific community. ERCIM institutes feel for all Ukrainians and especially for Ukrainian staff and colleagues who have family and friends in Ukraine, and express solidarity with them as well as with our Russian colleagues and staff who are suffering from this conflict. Many initiatives have been launched to help Ukrainian scientists.

The ERCIM Ethics Working Group organises a workshop in Paris on 17 and 18 October 2022, targeted at researchers and Research Ethics Boards (REBs). The event will consist of keynotes, presentations, tutorials and interactive sessions, and will provide ample time for open discussions.

Announcement
The ERCIM PhD Fellowship Programme has been established as one of the premier activities of ERCIM. The programme is open to young researchers from all over the world. It focuses on a broad range of fields in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics.
