The Department is responsible for the coordination of the scientific and technical activities of all the CNR Institutes working in the ICT sector. Professor Beltrame holds the Chair of BioEngineering at the University of Genoa and is President of the Scientific and Technical Committee for Industrial Research of the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research. Dr Fausto Rabitti, Head of the Networked Multimedia Information Systems Laboratory of ISTI-CNR, is the new member of the Executive Committee.
